Developed a two piece robot gripper end of arm tooling with a carbon fiber nylon base and a replaceable flexible material pad for contact with parts. The interchangeable wear part reduced weight by 20% and reduced lead time by 80%.

About us
BDI Additive, a division of BDI, was started in 2018 inside of the Youngstown Business Incubator’s Additive Manufacturing TBB5 Complex. BDI Additive builds on BDI’s long standing reputation of delivering quality products and solutions to our customers.
We started with a mission to help manufacturers implement additive into their existing processes. Since then, we’ve grown immensely and have been able to help manufacturers across many different industries with their supply chain and sourcing issues.
